A.J. Peak and his team of dentists and specialists have opened Woodmen Dental Group in the Safeway shopping center. They hope that integrated dentistry, orthodontics and oral surgery practices will provide Falcon patients with a one-stop experience for oral health.Three dentists, two orthodontists and an oral surgeon totaling 60 years of combined experience in military and civilian dentistry service comprise the team at Woodmen, said manager Peak. ìWe’re excited to be part of the fastest growing area in the region. We wanted to bring specialists to this area for the residents,î Peak said.Woodmen Dental is in the former Town and Country Preschool location near The Bar and Falcon Family Eye Care. Peak said they were able to complete build-out only 10 weeks from signing the lease to opening for patient appointments Nov. 8. The teamwork among the doctors and staff helped, he said. ìOur team has been working together for a few years,î Peak said. ìAfter a while, we can geek out over plans and get things done pretty quickly.îPeak said the biggest difference they offer is streamlining appointments and paperwork for patients who need specialized care. ìOur patients don’t have to spend extra to get X-rays and first appointments at a dentist, then at their oral surgeon,î he said. ìYou don’t have to wait for your dentist to send a referral, make an appointment at a new office and fill out new forms. It’s much faster and smoother this way.îThe group offers in-house payment plans, and accepts Tri-Care as well, along with most insurance and discount plans. Woodmen Dental Group will be hosting an open house Thursday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. They will be sponsoring a drawing for an iPad, with extra entries for those who schedule an appointment during the open house.
