This September marks the 10th anniversary of National Preparedness Month, an outreach program created by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and managed by the ìReadyî campaign.The ìReadyî campaign provides information, checklists and resources to help people prepare for emergencies by

  • Creating a family emergency plan
  • Being informed about the kinds of emergencies and disasters that can occur in their areas
  • Building an emergency supply kit
  • Getting involved in their communities
