The students, parents and staff of Remington Elementary School in School District 49 were thrilled at the recent success of their fundraiser for the family of Colorado Springs Police Officer Jared Jensen, who was killed a couple of months ago in the line of duty.The staff and students hosted a parent-teacher basketball game on March 14, which brought in more than $1,600 from admission sales and food sales. About 400 people attended the event.
