School District 49 along with the districtís Illuminating Goals and Nurturing Interests Towards Engagement (IGNITE) program hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 1 for the new zSpace bus/virtual learning lab. Funded by a Department of Defense Education Activity (grant, the zSpace project allowed D 49 to convert a retired school bus into a mobile learning lab, equipped with multiple workstations giving students the opportunity to learn in a 3D, virtual environment.D 49 is among 36 recipient districts from around the nation to earn the generous DoDEA grant in 2018.
