Ongoing Active Older Adult classesWednesday:AOA ó 11 a.m.: Use of a chair for sitting and standing support. The class will lift hand-held weights and utilize the stretch band and small exercise balls for strength.Hatha (gentle) Yoga: 1 p.m.: A gentle stretching/deep breathing class standing on the floor with a matThursday:AOA 2: ó10 a.m.: Increasing the heart rate plus strength training with the workout equipment. Some floor exercises are available if attendees are interested.Seated/standing yoga ó11 a.m.: Seated and standing yoga poses with assistance from a chairStrength and balance ó 1 p.m.: Core and lower body strength for better balance; a chair is also provided for assistance.
