Meridian Ranch Center events

All of the following events are held at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center:10301 Angeles Drive in Falcon. You need not be a MRRC Association or HOA member to attend any of the events.

  • Lunch Out!†Each month on the first Friday at 1 p.m. is lunch out, and anyone is welcome.†”Drop Ins” are wonderful, but to ensure seating, call ahead of time so we can add you to our reservation list.
  • Potlucks resume Aug. 17, from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center; the main course will be provided ó bring a salad, side dish or dessert; to sign up, call 719-495-7119; open to the public
  • Intro to Stretch: Wednesdays at 11:15 a.m.
  • SilverSneaker Classic: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. (While this is not a formal Intro class, it is a good way to get started in muscle strength and flexibility.†It is not an aerobic class. SilverSneaker insurance is not required.
  • NEW: Pickleball on Wednesdays at the recreation center, from 9:30 a.m. to noon; equipment available ó open to Meridian residents only and anyone who has Silver Sneakers
  • Pinochle: first and third Thursday of each month ó†12:30 – 4 p.m.
  • Mexican Train: second and fourth Thursdays of each month ó12:30 – 4 p.m. (open to everyone)
  • If you have Silver Sneakers with your insurance policy, you can come to the Meridian Recreation Center and take any exercise class that is offered at no charge: water and land classes!
October events:Oct. 28: Fall Festival, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.Join the fun at MRRC at our annual Fall Festival. We will be offering a variety of activities for children of all ages: Trunk or Treat, Pumpkin Bowling, Cake Walk, Diving for Pumpkins and more. This event is free and open to the public.†If your business or family would like to host a ìTrunk,î contact the recreation center to sign up.Save the date:†Nov. 9, from† 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.MRRC’s 4th Annual Thanksgiving Pot LuckWe will provide the turkey.†Please consider bringing either a salad, a side dish or a dessert to share.†If anyone has any dietary needs/restrictions, bring something that is safe for you to eat and join us for this special time.†For cooking/seating purposes, please register by Nov. 6.† Open to the public.Open Enrollment: For friends 65-plus ó if your insurance policy or Medicare supplement includes SilverSneakers, you are welcome to come to the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center and take any†of our land/water classes for free.†You would also be entitled to a free Y membership.†Contact your provider if you have any questions on your coverage.To register for these events or for more information, contact the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center at 719-495-7119 or email Mary at mritchie@ppymca.org.
