Meridian Ranch Center events

All of the following events are held at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center:10301 Angeles Drive in Falcon. You need not be a MRRC Association or HOA member to attend any of the events.Save the date: Togetherhood (a Y USA program for social responsibility) and Meridian Ranch are teaming up with other nonprofits for service projects in the Colorado Springs area. Upcoming volunteer opportunities include the following:Oct. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Garden of the Gods Community Stewardship and Restoration Program; repairing and improving the dirt trails within the parkOct. 27, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Blood drive at MRCCFor more information on any of these projects; or, to suggest projects, call 719-494-1381 or email Mary at mritchie@ppymca.org

  • Lunch Out!†Each month on the first Friday at 1 p.m. is lunch out, and anyone is welcome.†”Drop Ins” are wonderful, but to ensure seating, call ahead of time so we can add you to our reservation list. Also, you can call us for the place and time.
  • Intro to Stretch: Wednesdays at 11:15 a.m.
  • SilverSneaker Classic: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. (While this is not a formal Intro class, it is a good way to get started in muscle strength and flexibility.†It is not an aerobic class. SilverSneaker insurance is not required.
10/27 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. ó†Active Older Adult/SilverSneakers Open HouseDid you know that SilverSneakers participants can take any of the land/water classes at the MR rec center for FREE, even if you are not a resident!† Everyone is invited to the open house to sample a variety of activities and hear speakers talk about what the center has to offer. Free blood pressure checks. Classic class at 11 a.m.10/29 †1- 3 p.m. †Fall Festival ó Trunk or TreatTime once again for the annual fall festival, and that means Trunk or Treat for the little ones, a chili cook-off, an apple pie contest and the pumpkin carving challenge! Trophies will be awarded for the best decorated car, the best of red/green chili, the best pie and the best carved pumpkin. Falcon firefighters will judge the contests.
