Meridian Ranch Center events

All of the following events are held at the Meridian Ranch Recreation Center:10301 Angeles Drive in Falcon. You need not be a MRRC Association or HOA member to attend any of the events.

• The pot luck is on the third Thursday of each month. Jan 21 at 12:15 p.m. is the annual soup exchange. Bring a big pot of your favorite soup; and also bring two or three small containers to go to fill with other soups.
• The Pinochle Club meets the third Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m., following the potluck. All ages and abilities are welcome.
• Lunch Out!†Each month on the first Tuesday is lunch out, and anyone is welcome.†”Drop Ins” are wonderful, but to ensure seating, call ahead of time so we can add you to our reservation list. Also, you can call us for the place and time. The Jan. 12 lunch out is at Mimiís.

Presenting the “Intro Series” classes!Intro classes will ease you into cardio, muscle conditioning and flexibility workouts.†For many of the classes, there are standing and seated options.

• Intro to Step: Mondays at 10 a.m.
• Intro to Interval: Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
• Intro to Stretch: Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:15 a.m.
• SilverSneaker Classic: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. (While this is not a formal Intro class, it is a good way to get started in muscle strength and flexibility.†It is not an aerobic class. SilverSneaker insurance is not required.
