Dane R. Balcon American Legion Post 2008 is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony at the Dane R. Balcon Park in Falcon at 10 a.m. May 31. This 30-to-45-minute ceremony will include a presentation of the colors; invocation; a presentation by a 2010 oratorical contestant on the duties of citizenship as delineated in the Constitution; drill team presentation; and playing of “Taps.”
