Meet the new Woodmen Hills board members

Keith MoultonKeith Moulton said he and his wife moved to Woodmen Hills two years ago. He became involved in Woodmen Hills Metro District after researching the district bond issues. He said the board needs to communicate better with the community and create more understanding to help make changes more palatable.”I believe 2009 will be a more positive year for the district,” he said. His first priority is to become better educated about the issues facing the district.Moulton brings managerial experience and a financial background to the board. He is a member of the American Legion and has served on the WHMD Budget Oversight Committee.Marge VegaMarge Vega holds a master’s in business administration and brings 35 years of business experience to the board. She is a member of the Falcon Exchange Club and serves on the WHMD park and recreation and budget oversight committees. Vega said her experience will guide the board to better long-range planning and thinking through cases analytically.Deborah WrightDeborah Wright said she brings a positive outlook and a can-do attitude to the board. She said she is pro-active and forward thinking. She said she applied for the WHMD board after attending meetings for a long time and watching the board struggle to get along and move the community forward. “Bottom line is people will complain but won’t put their actions where their mouth is,” she said. Wright said she is prepared to act and was encouraged by the tenor of her first meeting as a board member.Wright is a certified mediator, educator and a small business owner. She previously attended WHMD advisory board meetings and also served on the parks and recreation and budget oversight committees.
