On Aug. 21, a grand opening was held to celebrate the Falcon McDonald’s at 7255 N. Meridian Road. Owners Charlie and Barbara Golding are excited to be in the area. “Falcon is a growing community,” Charlie Golding said. “I think McDonald’s strives to find locations where we can anticipate the support of the community. This was one of those places that provided that.” The Falcon McDonald’s began serving customers July 29.The Golding’s owned and then sold two McDonald’s stores in California. They now own eight stores in Colorado. You might say they have always been drawn to McDonald’s – not only were their first jobs at McDonald’s but they also met at McDonald’s. Charlie Golding said the timing of opening a McDonald’s is ideal because of the new Angus burger line and McCafe’s.General manager Cindy McDaniel agreed. “Business is booming. The community likes us it seems,” McDaniel said. “We’ve been trying to get out here awhile.”
