Master Gardener speaks at Espresso’s

Nadine Salmons (left in picture), a master gardener from the Colorado State Extension Service, has lived in the Black Forest for 19 years. Speaking at Espresso at Stratfords last month, she presented newcomers with some important gardening tips. “Don’t put anything that grows above ground out before June 1,” she warned.She also said that Siberian tomatoes are a good variety to grow in Colorado.Heidi Ring, a Woodmen Hills resident who has lived in Falcon for three years, welcomed everyone to join Falcon Garden Club.
