A plan to open a local Lowe’s has come to an end, leaving the Falcon Fire Protection District without a new fire station.Fire Chief Trent Harwig said Loweís attorneys notified the district of the decision. “It is dead,” Harwig said of the deal.Although Lowe’s backed out of the current plan, Harwig said it was not clear if Lowe’s may decide to build in Falcon in the future.The New Falcon Herald will provide updated information about the situation in the Sept. 20 issue.
