Losing one of the FFPD founders

Vern Kauffman, one of Falcon Fire Protection District founders and a former chief, passed away on June 20. The New Falcon Herald staff is sorry for the loss of Mr. Kauffman, who is also the father of FFPD firefighter and paramedic Lt. Curtis Kauffman.
