In late May, the Kiwanis Club of the Eastern Plains built a wheelchair ramp for Falcon resident 11-year-old Jeremiah, who received his electric wheelchair from the Falcon Fire Protection District volunteer association a few months ago. The new ramp allows Jeremiah better access into his home.Several Kiwanis members donated their time and carpentry skills: Joel Theriault of Pack, Ship & More; Dale Luiten of Town and Country Preschool; Sam Byrne of Byrne Management, LLC; Matt Day; Dr. Andrew Royer of Falcon Family Eye Care and Mark Brookbank. The Kiwanis Club of the Eastern Plains focuses on the needs of children in Falcon, Peyton and the eastern plains.
