Book author and Black Forest resident Larry R. Killam will hold three book signings for his book “Horse Tales,” published by Tate Publishing and Enterprises. The book, released on July 29, consists of four short horse stories from the Bible with a “what if” kid imagination. It comes in printed, audio and e-book format. The signings are free and open to the public and will be held Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon at Focus on the Family Book Store, and noon to 2 p.m. at Mardels (this event is part of the Journey 2008 Event sponsored by many book stores in Colorado Springs and many first time as well as well known authors will be at several locations signing their books). Another signing is scheduled to be held Friday, Oct. 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Words of Life Book Store, 615 Main St., Canon City.
