April Dee, professional obstacle course racer, has become well-known in the Spartan Race circuit. In August, people can watch how Dee trains for a race, along with a glimpse of her personal life. ìI donít just train all the time, I have a regular life, too,î Dee said. The Falcon resident will be featured on the program ìEmpowered Womanî on NBC Sports. A camera crew from the network shot a ìday-in-the-lifeî of Dee at home with her family, as well as training athletes at PCR Fitness in Falcon.
