Kids help celebrate National Electrical Safety month

To illustrate the importance of National Electrical Safety month in May, Mountain View Electric Association sponsored the third annual Electrical Safety Poster Contest for kids in grades kindergarten through fifth. This yearís winning poster was created by Cathryn, a fourth-grade student at Prairie Winds Elementary.In addition to MVEAís overall poster contest winner, a winner from each grade level was selected. Each of the winners received a Kindle Fire, and the winnersí teacher received an Amazon gift card.Contest winners

MVEA also conducted electrical safety demonstrations in each of the winning poster studentís classrooms.
