In response to an increase in kidney disease nationwide, a Pikes Peak Kidney Fair will be held Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Pulpit Rock Church, 301 Austin Bluffs Parkway. The health fair is free and open to the public. The National Kidney Foundation of Colorado, Montana and Wyoming, in partnership with Pikes Peak Nephrology Associates, PC (PPNA), will offer a non-invasive Kidney Health Risk Assessment and consultation to anyone over age 18. Drawings for gift card giveaways to Kings Soopers will also be held. Kidney fair participants/educators also include the University of Colorado, Memorial Health System, Penrose-St. Francis Health Services, Colorado Springs Health Partners, Pikes Peak Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging, the City of Colorado Springs, the Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy and local and state dignitaries.
