Check it out.The third PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER, sponsored by Falcon Boy Scout Troop 149, starts at 7 a.m., and the “feed” will last until 10 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the Woodmen Hills Recreation Center East (the one with the indoor pool) – 9205 Meridian Ranch Boulevard. Directions: Take Meridian Road north to Stapleton Road, then east to Meridian Ranch Road – the recreation center is on your left. Look for the signs.Kids age four and under eat free; the cost is $3 for children ages 5 to 10; and the rest, from age 11 on up pay $5 for an “all-you-can-eat-pancake breakfast, with sides of eggs, bacon or sausage and drinks.Kids (maybe adults, too) bring your bikes for the DECORATED BIKE PARADE, which starts at 10 a.m. Bike decorating activities start at 9:30 a.m. and decorations are provided, along with some fun patriotic tattoos.If you have an old glory, bring it and retire it properly at the Flag Retirement Ceremony, scheduled at noon.A disc jockey will be playing tunes all day long and the day’s festivities include an air jumper and many prizes.
