Assessments for Insurance Services Office ratings occur every 10 years. According to the FFPD website, the following ISO scores have been in effect since September 2010:
- Class 5 (hydranted area): Applies to all residential properties within 1,000 feet of a recognized fire hydrant and within 5 road miles of any Falcon fire station or any neighboring Automatic Aid Fire District station
- Class 7 (hauled water area): Applies to all residential properties that are not within 1,000 feet of a recognized fire hydrant but within 5 road miles of a Falcon fire station or any neighboring Automatic Aid Fire District station
- Class 10: Applies to all properties that are not within 5 road miles of a Falcon fire station or any neighboring Automatic Aid Fire District station regardless of fire hydrant protection.
