Imposters

Deputy Assessor Mark Lowderman is asking residents to beware of someone who is alleging to be from the county assessor’s office and asking questions about the layout of residents’ homes. He uses the name, James, and called one individual at 8 p.m. Lowderman said his office never contacts anyone after 4:30 p.m. or before 8 a.m. Appraisers also have photo identification cards and business cards when they visit homes.
