Dear Editor,Falcon wants to become a city with city services and taxes. They are rushing to do it before Colorado Springs can annex the area. Based on the map of the proposed land mass of a Falcon city, I see this as the greatest land grab since the Homestead Act of the 1800ís. Many of us who live in rural El Paso County on the West side of the proposed city do not want to be a part of Falcon City. Our lots range from 5-40 acres and we are satisfied with the county services we receive from our El Paso County tax dollars. Services and response times are excellent. We do not need extra taxes to pay for city expenses. The ranchers who raise animals do not need city regulations. If it isnít broke, donít fix it.Janice Simpson
