Holiday outreach begins at Oktoberfest

The Black Forest Community Club will host an Oktoberfest celebration Saturday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. at the community hall, 12530 Black Forest Road. Non-perishable foods will be collected at the door, and opportunities to sponsor a child by purchasing a holiday gift will be available. Children and personalized gift suggestions are provided anonymously by administrators at Wolford Elementary School. Food donations can be dropped off at the community hall during open hours in October, November and early December; or at the R&R CafÈ, 11425 Black Forest Road. Look for baskets labeled for this outreach. Contact Gretchen Richardson at 719-495-7609 or Sue Ader 719-595-0190 for additional information.
