Which is better ñ the book or the movie? It’s probably the second most popular argument, next to which came first – the chicken or the egg?Regardless of the answers to either, the NFH took to the streets to find out the home-town people’s choice for favorite Christmas book or movie – or both. Most responded quickly because they said holiday books and movies are part of their tradition and one that puts them in the holiday mood.
| Renae Yenter Colorado SpringsMy favorite Christmas movie is “It’s a Wonderful Life.” I just love the end where Jimmy Stewart is holding the little girl, and she says, ‘Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings.’ And one of my favorite Christmas stories is ‘”Twas the Night Before Christmas.” | ![]() |
