Colorado Counties Inc., a statewide association of county commissioners, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. According to a news release from CCI, the group supports county commissioners “in delivering cost effective and efficient services to their constituents, fosters collaborative partnerships with citizens and all levels of government and enhances knowledge of public policy issues through membership education.”CCI also formed five districts that promote “regional conversations.” Each district meets at least three times a year. A president and vice president are elected in each district and serve a one-year term. In June, Dennis Hisey was elected president of the Front Range District.
