High Plains Helping Hands Food Pantry provides food to more than 50 families each week.†The pantry is low or depleted of many items. Help them fill their shelves. Items needed: cereal, oats, canned meat and fish, chili, canned soup, canned fruit, peanut butter, jelly, hygiene items, dish detergent and laundry detergent.† Items can be dropped off in donation boxes at The State Bank, Farmers State Bank, Wal-Mart in Falcon or at Helping Hands on the Mountain Springs Church Campus near Woodmen and Black Forest Roads, 7375 Adventure Way, on Thursdays or Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., or the first or third Saturday of each month, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
