The Airmans Attic picked up the coats, which were distributed at Peterson Air Force Base. Thanks to the American Legion Post 2008 Legion Riders and the Falcon and Peyton communities for the more than 100 coats received.Airmans Attic serves about 150 to 200 families from five different bases in the local area. They provide household goods, children’s clothing, books, toys, furniture and uniforms to all E-5 and below families in all services — at no cost.†They offer uniforms only to all services active and reserve E-6 and above and CAP and ROTC students.†They also help fire victims; and they collect for the local homeless shelters, the Child Development Center on Peterson Air Force Base, the Youth Center on Peterson, as well as the local veteransí associations.†
