The Eastern Plains Homeschool Enrichment Center (EPHEC) is in the development stages. Supported by Peyton School District 23 in collaboration with the Colorado Academy of Independent Learners, EPHEC is slated to open in August. The center is looking for input on the needs of home-schooling families on the eastern plains. EPHEC also will offer classes, resources, assistance and support at no cost to home-schooling families on the eastern plains. Help create and develop the vision. Call for the time and location of the next open meeting, or visit the Web site at http://www.peyton.k12.co.us/, click on “Homeschool” to complete the survey, or click on “Apply” to pre-enroll.For more information about EPHEC, call the Colorado Academy of Independent Learners at 749-0200.
