On Dec. 13, the board of county commissioners is expected to hear arguments from the Peyton Fire Protection District and Santa Fe Springs development concerning the latter’s request to exclude 676 acres from the Peyton fire district. The hearing will be held in the board of county commissioners hearing room at 27 E. Vermijo Avenue in Colorado Springs.
