On Saturday, Sept. 13, the Community Outreach Coalition will host the fourth annual Health and Education Fair in the Whittemore building on the El Paso County fairgrounds in Calhan. The goal of the fair is to connect rural residents in eastern El Paso County with the agencies and organizations that serve their area. Residents of these areas are often unaware of the resources and services available to them. This event allows the participating agencies and organizations an opportunity to educate and create awareness of vital programs and services.The event is open to all ages and free to the public. More than 60 vendors will provide information on health services and screenings, vision screenings, chiropractic, yoga, massage services and many more services.
