In the girlsí bracket, it was a similar story as both Sand Creek and Falcon made it into the tournament. Falcon came in as a No. 7 seed and defeated Steamboat Springs in the first round before losing to Valor Christian in the second round. Sand Creek was a No. 1 seed and made it all the way to the Great Eight before they also lost to Valor Christian.All in all, it was a great year for D 49 basketball but with so many seniors graduating this year, the question is, Can they make it to state next year?
