Falcon Girl Scout Troop 1843 will host a Silver Award Project Saturday, May 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to benefit the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. “Operation A & D” encourages the community to “adopt” a pet from the humane society and “donate” items needed on the humane society wish list. Items needed for donation include food and water bowls, blankets, leashes and pet beds. The HSPPR will bring their “Critter Cruiser” with pets available for adoption to the Falcon Wal-Mart.
