Front Range Equine Rescue 2006 Events

The following event and clinics are fundraisers for Front Range Equine Rescue. Clinics fill up quickly; reserve your spot today.Equine Education Awareness Day (May 20, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Latigo Trails Heritage Centre indoor arena) A day for horse enthusiasts of all levels of experience to enjoy vendor booths, guest speakers, demonstrations, used tack sale, food, fun and more. Door prizes. Vendor booth deadline is March 25. Demonstrators include Clay Harper, Debbie Bibb and Jessee Province. (June 3, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 6995 Horseshoe Rd, Colorado Springs) Natural horsemanship instructor Jessee Province will teach how to help your horse become braver and calmer with spooky objects. The morning session will be de-spooking on the ground. The afternoon session will apply the techniques from the saddle.Building Confidence with Your Horse (June 24-25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., 6995 Horseshoe Road, Colorado Springs) Certified John Lyons instructor, Debbie Bibb, will teach the basics of groundwork for your horse before getting into the saddle. These techniques will then be applied under saddle. Limit of 10 riders.General Horsemanship Clinic w/Julie Goodnight (September 9-10, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Prairie Springs Farm, 7445 Templeton Gap Rd., Colorado Springs) Learn balance, rhythm, and communication with your horse in this 2-day clinic.
