According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, residents have called the sheriff asking about a company that is distributing flyers to residences throughout the county stating there is a sex offender living in their neighborhood. The company charges a fee to provide the residents with details about the sex offender.The sheriff’s office issues a news release stating the company “appears to be legitimate.” However, residents can obtain the same information at no cost by visiting the physical office at 101 W.
