“Live in the moment” and “take one day at a time” – both are pearls of wisdom often said to remind us to slow down and take each day as it comes. Those words may not always be easy to live by, though – especially when there are upcoming events to anticipate. Many of these events will happen in Falcon and eastern El Paso County communities in the coming year.Bookworms, computer junkies and research hounds rejoice – you will soon have a place to gather. In 2010, Falcon will be home to a new public library. The Pikes Peak Library District hosted a groundbreaking ceremony in November. Kathleen Wallace provides details about plans for the new facility and when it is expected to open.In this issue of The New Falcon Herald, Vince McConnell resumes his sports column: Vinnie Mac Sports Corner. Vince will cover the Falcon High School boys’ basketball season. Welcome back Vince!
