Fright in Falcon becoming a Halloween tradition

Fright in Falcon delivered another spooktactular haunted maze for Falcon and area residents. The Vredeveld family hosts the maze every year on Fridays and Saturdays during the month of October. The maze started out as a geocaching event that spiraled into something for the community. Cathy Vredeveld said they moved it back to the original location on Abilene Drive this year because they added more walls and built onto the maze. She said they try to change it up every year. This year, they had some Thanksgiving type visitors. ìWe have some turkeys out back, and one got into the maze right before we opened. People say I should leave them in the maze, because some folks are scared of birds, but really all they would do is sleep,î Vredeveld said. They also have showings for little kids and private parties. The maze is free, but donations are encouraged since the Vredeveldís put all of it together out of their own pocket. For more information, visit http://frightinfalcon.com/index.html.
