Since 1968, Tax-Aide, an AARP Foundation volunteer-based program, has helped nearly 50 million low- to middle-income taxpayers with free tax preparation and consulting services. Through a cadre of trained and IRS certified volunteers, Tax-Aide has helped taxpayers for more than 40 years in every state and the District of Columbia. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is available to taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 and older, for the preparation of personal federal and Colorado income taxes. This year the Tax-Aide program will operate eight sites in the Pikes Peak region.
