The county commissioner candidate debate was the highlight of the Falcon Professional Development League meeting on Oct. 6, but there was other business as well. Jim Friedly, chair of the FPDL, talked about the organization’s policy on e-mail solicitations. Questions had been raised because of previous political e-mail solicitations. It is not illegal to send e-mail solicitations through intercepted e-mail addresses. There are no defined rules regarding e-mail addresses. Friedly asked FPDL members to use good judgment when sending out blanket e-mail solicitations. The FPDL meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Falcon Fire Protection District building on the corner of Meridian Road and Highway 24. The next meeting is scheduled Nov. 3. For more information, call Dr. Scott Miller at 494-0222 or e-mail Tom Cline at thomascline@msn.com.
