The former El Paso County attorney, Bill Louis, has been reappointed as the interim attorney, replacing Jay Lauer. Louis served as the county attorney from 2004 through 2006. He then assumed the position of external operations administrator and director of operations for the development services department. County Administrator Jeff Greene will handle the external operations duties on a temporary basis. And Mike Hrebenar will serve as acting director of operations for the development services department.
