This year the football team is off to a great 4-0 start. In the first game of the season, Falcon played against the Conifer Lobos at Trail Blazer stadium in Denver. In the first half, Josh Gustad scored the first touchdown of the game. A few plays later, Keenan Ballage struck the end zone giving the team the lead. In the second half, Conifer came back scoring two touchdowns giving the Falcons only a three-point lead. With seconds left, the Falcon defense did their best to hold back the Logos. Their hard work paid off when the Falcons with a 17-14 win.Next game, the Falcon team took on the Englewood Pirates at home. Early in the game, Steven Hornyak blocked a punt, which was quickly recovered by Jared Balaich. Vahn Plambeck then took it in to give the Falcons a 6-point lead. The Falcons won their first home game 17-0.The D’Evelyn Jaguars came to town for the third game. Keenan Ballage scored numerous touchdowns to help lead the team to a shutout victory. Raul Franco also showed off his talent as a punter. The whole team played their best, winning 40-0.They played their fourth game away against the Harrison Panthers. Keenan Ballage scored a quick touchdown in the first half, giving the team a fast lead. However, Harrison came back, scoring a touchdown and kicking a field goal, but still the Falcon team led by 7 points. The Falcon boys held them to 7 points, with a 39-7 win.
