Several people came out for the opening day of the El Paso County Fair. This year’s theme was “Catch the Spirit of Tradition,” and it appeared that fairgoers did just that. They munched on specialty foods, took a spin on the carnival rides or tried their luck at one of the games.It wouldn’t be a county fair if it didn’t include farm animals, and this year’s fair had plenty of those, too.
