Flealess Flea Market

Area folks turned out to enjoy Black Forest’s Flealess Flea Market in September. Proceeds from the event, held at the Black Forest Community Center, benefited three local animal rescues: Harleyís Hope Foundation, Wild Blue Animal Rescue and Southern Colorado’s Animal Rescue.People enjoyed finding a bargain or two, while the kids enjoyed a petting zoo and face painting. Others indulged in a goodie from the bake sale or taste-tested the chili.

Seven-year-old Lauren Van Pelt, from Black Forest, enjoyed time with the ponies from the Black Forest Animal Sanctuary.
