Production Plan-it Inc., a Colorado Springs event coordinator and trade show marketing company, is sponsoring the first ever “Colorado PETacular” on Sept. 11 and 12 at the Chapel Hills Mall. The two-day event is a free-to-the-public pet product, service and family fun exposition. Over 150 exhibitors will display their wares on the ice arena floor, which is located on the lower level of the mall, and the outdoor arena located in the Sears parking lot. The event’s hours are Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 9 a.m. and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.Exhibitors include doggie-day care centers, veterinarians, animal-rescue groups, animal trainers, the Colorado Gators Reptile Adventure, the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (sponsored by Sign Masters), 9 Lives Rescue, Wolf Rescue Center, fencing companies and specialty pet products and services and pet food. Media sponsor is KRDO, and a live remote will be on premise.Animal-education speakers are also scheduled as well as pet fashion shows, photo contests, parades, and plenty of activities for the kids.
