Falcon Exchange Club hosted a family games night Nov. 15 at the Woodmen Hills Community Center. The event was an opportunity for club members and their families to learn about several of the newest award-winning strategy board games. The club will be marketing the games in Falcon and the Black Forest communities as a fundraiser. The Exchange Club works to eliminate child abuse, assist in community services and reinforce American values, traditions and beliefs. The games are fun and intellectually challenging. Some children with learning difficulties have experienced success and gained self-confidence while playing them, which enable them to actively pursue other educational challenges. Gemlok is a dice game; Cromlet is a card game, while Keesdrow (Wordseek) and Keesdrow Deluxe are word games. To learn more about these games, view an instructional Keesdrow game video or learn more about awards won, visit www.pywacketgames.com.These games will be available for purchase at Pack, Ship & More and other locations in the Falcon area. The games can also be purchased from the Exchange Club by calling Leonore Misner at 495-1439, by e-mail at leonore_misner@msn.com or visit www.falconexchangeclub.com.The Falcon Club has several projects on tap: area beautification at Woodman Hills Elementary School, Youth-of-the-Month recognition and other community service activities.
