All Falcon Senior Services activities are free of charge and provided by volunteers. The services are available to persons 60 years of age and over living in the Falcon area. Enter the metal building from the parking lot to find the dining area.†The theme will be Cinco de Mayo, with a Mexican fiesta supervised by Beverly Kelty. Dress for the occasion in south of the border attire ñ ladies wear large colorful flowers in your hair. Bring a salad, side dish or dessert. Table service and beverages will be provided. The superbly skilled mime team, ìUnashamed,î will perform.LUNCH AT PLCThe students†and staff of Patriot Learning Center have invited members of Falcon Senior Services to lunch on Friday, May 18, at the school†at 12:30. Call Jenny†Olson at 495-1149†ext. l501 or e-mail jolson@d49.org by May 11 for reservations.†BAKE SALEThe 2012 fundraisers will kick off with a bake sale in front of Wal-Mart on May 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A large array of cakes, pies, breads and other baked goods will be available ñ come early for the best selection.†Pies are the first to go!AARP DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAMThe AARP driver safety program, hosted by the Pikes Peak Library District and Falcon Senior Services, will be June 13 from 1 ñ 5 p.m. at the High Prairie Library, 7035 Old Meridian Road in Falcon. Drivers 50 years and older are welcome. The cost is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members and will be collected by the instructor at the end of class.
