Fae Lucen Loucks of Falcon has been selected to participate in the 2015 Colorado Springs Miss Jr. Pre-Teen pageant, which takes place Sept. 20. Eight-year-old Fae Lucen, a third-grader at Pikes Peak School of Expeditionary Learning, submitted an application, and interviewed with the pageant coordinator. She will compete in the 7-to-9-year-old division ó one out of four divisions for girls age 7 through 19.In each of the divisions, contestants will model casual and formal wear and interview in front of the judges. Personality is the No. 1 criteria for judging.Thousands of dollars in prizes will be awarded to the winners, who will move on to represent Colorado Springs and surrounding communities at the national pageant in Orlando, Florida. Winners receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Orlando for six days. At the national competition, contestants nationwide compete for their share of more than $30,000 in prizes.Fae Lucen is the daughter of retired Army SSG Matthew J.
