The grand opening ceremony for Falcon Regional Park, located at 10990 Eastonville Road in Falcon, took place June 11. The first phase of the 215-acre park is complete and consists of two baseball fields, a multi-purpose field, parking and an entry and walkway.At full completion, the park will also include four more baseball fields, three more multi-purpose fields, trails, a dog park, pavilions, a playground, multi-purpose courts, a splash park and restrooms.Following the ceremony, Dennis Hisey, El Paso County commissioner for District 4, threw out the first official pitch at the new baseball field. After the pitch, High Plains Little League played its first game on the new field.Tim Wolken, director of community services for EPC, said, ìWe are looking forward to having this become a great facility for Falcon.î
