The Falcon Professional Development League is sponsoring a “JOBS FOR KIDS”program. Individuals or business owners who need a small job done at home or at the office can go to the FPDL Web site and submit their name and phone number and match their job with a kid.Parents who want their kids to earn extra money this summer should key in their information on the Web site as well. The program is for anyone who is interested. It’s a great way to get that yard work done and a good way to put a little money in the kids’ piggy bank. The FPDL business fair will take place on Sat., June 25 near the Big R. See the community calendar for more details.Mark your calendars for July 20. The FPDL will be sponsoring a networking event and business gathering at the Antler Creek Clubhouse, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. It’s a good way to meet fellow business owners and market your own services. The next meeting of the FPDL is Wed., June 1 at 7:30 a.m. at the Falcon Fire Protection District firehouse. There will be information on incorporation efforts. For more information, e-mail FPDL President Tom Cline at thomascline@msn.com.
