Falcon Man Promoted to Associate Warden

Marylou Bride

Tim McCarthy, son of Kathy McCarthy and Pat Kellog (long-time residents of Falcon) has been promoted to associate warden with the Colorado Department of Corrections at the Denver Complex. Tim began his career with the CDC Department of Corrections in January 2009. Throughout his 16 years, he worked at the Limon Correctional Facility and the Denver Complex in various capacities, earning a multitude of promotions along the way. Tim’s experiences have been vast: shift commander, housing captain; he has overseen case management; recreation, education and volunteer services. Tim grew up in Falcon and graduated from Falcon High School in 2005 and Colorado State University Pueblo in 2008. Full disclosure: Tim, Kathy and Pat were my next door neighbors in Falcon for seven years, and Tim was my pet sitter (and I had a lot of animals); he also took care of my 5 acres. Kathy and Pat are proud parents and congrats to them, too, for raising a great guy. Tim is married and enjoys golf, the Colorado Rockies and family time. Congratulations, Tim!
